NYCU College of Management (CoM) was honored to host a prestigious delegation from Thailand's Maejo University (MJU) on December 4, 2023. Led by Dr. Weerapon Thongma, the President of MJU, the delegation included Dr. Suthira Sitthikun and three distinguished PhD students.

The visit was marked by a warm reception from NYCU President, President Lin, College of Management Dean Chung, Associate Dean Dr. Anthony Kuo, Dr. Sirirat Sae Lim, the Director of International Affairs, and Dr. Wen-liang Chen, Professor in the Department of Biological Science and Technology and Founder of AgriTalk Technology Inc. This occasion provided a platform for extensive discussions surrounding potential academic collaborations, research opportunities, and a testament to the commitment of both institutions to fostering international cooperation.

Maejo University, a renowned Thai institution established in 1934, stands among the nation's 28 national universities. With an enrollment of over 17,732 students, MJU has earned acclaim for its contributions to fields such as smart agriculture and environmental sustainability.

The visit reached its pinnacle with the formal signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between NYCUC CoM and MJU. This agreement solidifies the dedication of both institutions to make meaningful international contributions by leveraging their collaborative efforts.
