The Taiwan Semiconductor Research Institute (TSRI) is launching its “Semiconductor Science Outreach and International Visitor Reception Seed Teaching Assistant Program.” This is a premier opportunity for students interested in STEM education, technology outreach, and international exchange to gain practical experience at a national-level research center.
Paid Internship/Part-time Salary: Compensation will be paid in accordance with TSRI's regulations for part-time student assistants (including labor and health insurance).
Hands-on Experience: Support the "Semiconductor Science Exploration Camp" (jointly organized by TSRI and TSMC), various science outreach activities, and high-level international guest visits.
Flexible Scheduling: Approximately 20 sessions are expected through the end of the year. Arrange your shifts around your academic schedule (upper limit of 300 hours per contract period).
Official Certificate: An official internship certificate will be issued by TSRI upon successful completion with good performance.
Enrolled university or graduate students (Background in electronics, electrical engineering, semiconductors, STEM, education, foreign languages, or international affairs is preferred).
Basic communication skills in English or other foreign languages.
Experience in camps, teaching, guided tours, or event execution is a plus.
International students must hold a valid work permit in Taiwan.
Location: Mainly at TSRI’s Hsinchu site (or designated venues based on event needs).
