On March 11, 2025, the Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) Tapping Ceremony was successfully held at Room 201, Management Building II, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU). Around 30 students and faculty members attended to learn more about this prestigious international honor society for business students.

Established in 1913, Beta Gamma Sigma is the premier honor society for business programs accredited by AACSB, the gold standard of business education. With members in over 190 countries, BGS represents academic excellence, integrity, and leadership—connecting top business students, alumni, and professionals around the world.

During the session, Director Sirirat Sae Lim from the Office of International Affairs introduced the society’s mission and the benefits of lifelong membership. Participants learned about eligibility criteria—typically the top 10% of undergraduate or top 20% of graduate students—as well as access to global leadership summits, career development resources, and an active alumni network.

More than just an academic honor, BGS is a professional community that supports its members throughout their careers. With its core values of Honor, Wisdom, and Earnestness, BGS empowers members to lead with purpose and integrity in a changing world.

The event concluded with a lively group photo and meaningful conversations. Many thanks to all who attended—we look forward to seeing more outstanding NYCU students join BGS and take their place among global business leaders.
